Getting rid of RedHat Bluecurve KDE theme

Well, I am one of those who do not like the RedHat Bluecurve theme included in RedHat 8.0 and 9. I want KDE to look the way the KDE people think KDE should look like. So, here I will show the steps to change Bluecurve into the KDE look you can see at http://www.kde.org/screenshots/kde310shots.php Perhaps there are other alternatives to achieve this goal, if so, please inform me.

Personally I would like RedHat to incorporate all this under "Theme Manager". When you choose "Default" you should get the original KDE look, so is not the case at the moment.

Finally, to switch to the kdm desktop manager, (default is to use gdm from Gnome, but as we use KDE, kdm is a better choice) edit the /etc/sysconfig/desktop file to contain

DESKTOP="KDE"
DISPLAYMANAGER="KDE"
